Gala Dinner

On April 10th, 2019 American Friends of the Louvre hosted its annual gala dinner, this year celebrating the 30th anniversary of I.M. Pei’s iconic Pyramid. The evening took place at Sotheby’s and included a musical performance by renowned soprano Abigail Fischer and a live auction of art and luxury items and experiences led by Sotheby’s Chairman, Americas | Executive Vice President Benjamin Doller.

We were joined by special guests Didi and Beatrice Pei, Liane Pei and her son Matthew, and Anna Pei.

The evening was co-chaired by Christopher Forbes and Joan Kahn, to whom we give deep thanks.
