American Friends of the Louvre and The National Arts Club are pleased to invite you to a conversation between author Philippe Costamagna and Michael Z. Wise, co-founder of New Vessel Press, about Costamagna’s book, The Eye: An Insider’s Memoir of Masterpieces, Money, and the Magnetism of Art. This extraordinary adventure lifts the veil on the circle of experts and connoisseurs devoted to the authentication and discovery of Old Master artworks and gives us a glimpse into that rarefied world.
