Discover the Body and Soul Exhibition

“Body and Soul”, a beautiful exhibition devoted to Italian Renaissance sculpture from Donatello to Michelangelo, opened at the Louvre on October 22. Unfortunately, a few days after its opening, a second French lockdown caused the closure of the museum.

To give access to this extraordinary exhibition, American Friends of the Louvre and the Louvre Endowment invited members to a lecture by art historian Géraldine Bretault. She presented the major themes of the exhibition and showed the masterpieces on view.
