“The Vanished Collection” A Memoir of Parisian Art Plunder

The Vanished Collection explores the lost story of the author’s great-grandfather collector Jules Strauss, an important donor to the Louvre before the Nazi occupation of France, and traces Pauline Baer de Perignon’s quest to uncover the ultimate whereabouts of her great-grandparents’ collection.
