Corot: Women
September 9–December 31, 2018
Though best known for his landscapes, Camille Corot painted a beautiful collection of portraits which were rarely displayed during his lifetime. This exhibition will display forty-five of his portraits of women, painted between 1830 and 1870 and ranging from individual figures, nudes, and allegorical studio scenes. It includes several important loans from the Musée du Louvre, including The Lady in Blue, and Woman with a Pearl.
