Cocktail du Carrousel

 

On December 13, members and friends gathered at the showroom of Jean Nouvel’s New York skyscraper 53W53 for a cocktail reception in celebration of the Musée du Louvre’s Tous Mécènes (crowdfunding) campaign to restore the Arc du Carrousel.

The evening included a presentation of the campaign and information about this iconic monument by Iris Moon, assistant curator in the European Sculpture and Decorative Arts Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
