Member’s trip to Paris and Hauts-de-France

June 8–June 12, 2025

In June, members of the International Council and Chairman’s Circle are invited to travel to Paris and Hauts-de-France for their annual summer trip. Activities will begin in Paris with a cocktail reception on June 8, 2025 and conclude in Lille on the evening of June 12. Members should plan to arrive in Paris on June 8, travel to Lille on June 11 and return from Lille back to Paris or their next destination on June 13.

The trip will begin on June 8 with a festive cocktail reception. The next day members will experience Paris through exclusive cultural activities tailored to highlight its timeless charm and artistic heritage. On Tuesday, June 10, one of the highlights of the trip will be an exploration of the Louvre while closed to the public. That evening, members will enjoy a private dinner in the museum, an unforgettable experience in the world’s most iconic art institution.

The second part of the journey takes members to Hauts-de-France, a region in northern France celebrated for its rich history, cultural treasures, and blend of historical significance with modern innovation. On June 11, members will travel independently to Lille, a city renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and artistic spirit. The day will include visits to the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the remarkable La Piscine Museum in Roubaix. This former Art Deco swimming pool turned museum showcases an exquisite collection of fine arts, decorative arts, and industrial design from the 19th and 20th centuries—a masterful example of heritage preservation. The next day, members will have the privilege to visit the Louvre Lens to celebrate the reopening of the iconic Galerie du temps (Gallery of Time)—a stunning space showcasing the Louvre’s masterpieces in a unique chronological display. Members will then discover Liévin Conservation Center, the new state-of-the-art facility inaugurated in 2019 dedicated to the preservation and research of the Louvre’s extensive collections. The trip will conclude that evening with a farewell dinner, marking the perfect end to a journey that celebrates art, history, and innovation.
