Fall Art Trip for International Council Members to Vienna, Austria

Members of the International Council of the Louvre traveled to Vienna from November  4 to 8, 2017.  Highlights of the trip inclued a private tour of the Kunstkammer (Chamber of Arts and Wonders) at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, visits to the Harrach Collection at the family’s ancestral home and to the recently restored Liechtenstein Palace, viewings of museum and private collections of works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and other members of the Viennese Seccession and attendance at performances by The Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Spanish Riding School.
