International Council trip to Japan

This October, as Japan’s renowned autumn foliage paints the landscape in vibrant hues, the International Council will embark on an unforgettable journey, seamlessly blending modern marvels with ancient traditions. This exclusive exploration of Japanese artistry, culture, and cuisine will take members through Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Naoshima, offering premium accommodations, cultural experiences, and seamless travel arrangements.

The trip will begin on October 5 with independent arrivals in Tokyo. From October 6 to 8, the group will discover the vibrant capital where cutting-edge innovation coexists with centuries-old temples. From there, the group will travel to Kyoto, the heart of Japanese heritage to experience the city’s breathtaking shrines, landscapes, and mesmerizing fall colors. For those wishing to extend their journey beyond Kyoto, an exclusive extension will begin on October 11 and provide members with the chance to explore Osaka and Naoshima, two cultural and artistic powerhouses. In Osaka, the group will exlpore Expo 2025, where over 150 nations and organizations will showcase the future of technology, urban design, and global innovation. A particular highlight will be the French Pavilion. followed by two days of cultural discovery in this vibrant metropolis. From Osaka, the journey leads to Okayama, the gateway to Naoshima, Japan’s famed “Art Island.” On this serene retreat, home to world-renowned contemporary art installations and museums, guests will experience a harmonious blend of nature and creativity. The journey concludes on October 15, with a return flight to Tokyo, leaving unforgettable memories of Japan’s beauty, tradition, and innovation.
