The Etruscans: From the Heart of Ancient Italy is the most comprehensive exhibition on Etruscan civilization presented in the United States in recent decades, bringing together nearly 200 exceptional works from leading museums in Italy and beyond. Spanning nearly a millennium, the exhibition explores the rich artistic, technological, and cultural achievements of the Etruscans, whose innovations profoundly shaped ancient Rome and Western civilization. Featuring exquisite bronze and terracotta sculptures, gold jewelry, ceramics, architectural elements, and the longest surviving Etruscan inscription, the exhibition draws on the latest archaeological discoveries and scholarship to illuminate one of the ancient Mediterranean’s most influential yet often overlooked civilizations.
