American Friends of the Louvre has opened its first satellite office in Paris, marking a significant step in increasing its presence in France and strengthening its collaboration with the Louvre. The new office will improve AFL’s ability to facilitate VIP requests from visiting American patrons while also fostering a vibrant expatriate community among the more than 30,000 American citizens living in Paris. Patricia Quevedo Henry, the newest addition to the AFL team and based in the Paris office as Associate Director, will serve as a key liaison between AFL and the Louvre’s philanthropy department, ensuring members stay informed about the museum’s ongoing projects and programming.

Prior to joining AFL, Patricia served as Head of Fundraising with Les Concerts de Poche. Her previous experience includes Director of Development and Operations at the American Center for Art & Culture in Paris, as well as project management and coordination with La Fondation Hippocrène (Paris) and the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris. She brings more than 20 years of arts management experience in a variety of cultural organizations, both in Canada and in France.

Patricia holds a master’s degree in performing arts from Université Paris-VIII-Vincennes-Saint-Denis and a master’s degree in cultural management from Université Paris-Dauphine-PSL. She previously earned a bachelor’s degree in English and French literature from Huron University in Canada. She is also an active member of the Dauphine Culture alumni association and serves on the steering committee for L’AiR Arts.

Please join us in saying bienvenue et chapeau to Patricia! Let us know when you’re next in Paris—she would love to welcome you to the museum.
