In addition to supporting American Friends of the Louvre through membership or by contributing online, donations can also be made via bank transfer, stock transfer, donor advised funds, or by sending contributions in the mail.

Donate Stock
Gifts of stock can be a hassle-free way to support AFL while also receiving great tax benefits. If you have held the stock for more than 12 months, you can deduct its full fair-market value at the time of your gift, regardless of how much you initially paid for the shares. You also have the chance to reduce or eliminate your capital gains taxes. If your stock is held in a brokerage account, your broker can transfer your gift electronically using the following information:

Because electronic transfers are made without identifying the donor, please alert us in advance about the stock and number of shares you plan to give at info@aflouvre.org.

Support AFL through Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund is like a charitable investment account that allows you to support a charitable organization. Typically, you are entitled to an immediate tax deduction when contributing money to the fund. Those funds can then be invested for tax-free growth, allowing you to make designated contributions to non-profits as you wish. AFL is already registered in most major DAF platforms. In order to designate AFL as a recipient, simply look us up by our name or tax ID (EIN): 52-2376786. Please note that a DAF cannot be used for any contribution that receives benefits.

Matching Gifts
AFL is able to receive matching gifts from corporations and employers. Simply look us up by our name or tax ID (EIN): 52-2376786 in the company portal to facilitate the match. Please note that matches cannot be used to pay for any portion of a membership or pledge. Please ensure that you have our correct address, as it can greatly delay the process if the address is incorrect.

Contribute by Mail
While donating online is the easiest and most-secure method of giving, you are also welcome to download and complete the below forms before mailing it to us. Please do not send completed forms with credit card information by email.
